Fun Fall Treats
These treats are so easy that anyone can make them. As an after school snack or an in school treat, these inexpensive Acorns are sure to be a hit. Watch the little ones squirrel them away.
What will you need to make this tasty treat?
Ingredients:
- Chocolate chips
- Hershey kisses
- Mini vanilla wafers
- Begin by melting chocolate chips you will need about 2 cups of chocolate chips. Use a medium temperature and a double boiler or a heat resistant bowl in hot water until all of the chocolate is melted.
- After that you're ready to make them what you have to do is take a butter knife or some other utensil, and put some melted chocolate and spread it to the bottom of the hershey's kiss. In this project the melted chocolate is going to act as a glue for the kiss to the wafer.
- Once you have the chocolate spread on the bottom of the kiss, you’re going to place it on the bottom of the wafer. You stick it to the flat side not the rounded side. Let the chocolate harden as if it was glue holding them together.
- After it is held together, you're ready for the last step. Take some unmelted chocolate chips and put some melted chocolate on the bottom of the chocolate chip and stick it on the middle of the rounded side of the wafer then they are done.
These are perfect for family get togethers and fall holidays all the way up till Christmas. They are very easy to make and also very cheap. With one bag of Hershey kisses and one box of wafers, you can make lots of these cool, tasty snacks.
